Doghouse is a destination store combining a pet shop, dog grooming salon and café, plus a growing range of our own brand products.

All dog owners set out with a vision of how their lives will be with a dog and we help that to become a reality by providing top quality products and services along with excellent advice, giving our customers the confidence that they are buying the best to ensure they have a happy, healthy dog.

We have two locations in the South West, our original store in Bradford on Avon which opened in 2017 plus our newer store in Clifton in Bristol which opened in 2021.

Our expert team are always on hand to give you the best advice whether that's the right harness for you, how to train your dog to sit, the best treats for your puppy and so much more. There's very little we haven't been asked before so don't be afraid to have a chat to us about anything and everything 'dog'!

What We Offer

We stock an extensive range of products for both dogs and cats, from the practical to the luxurious. As a leading supplier of dog food in the region, we’re proud to offer expert advice on feeding, from raw to feeding to giving advice for sensitive pups.

Our very own range of DOGFOOD was developed in collaboration with canine nutrition experts, ensuring your dog gets the best possible diet. You’ll also find premium brands such as Lily's Kitchen, Canagan, Beco Pets, Forthglade, Natures Menu in both our stores as well as high-quality raw food from Cotswold Raw, Natural Instinct, Poppy’s Picnic and Naturaw.

We aren’t just a dog-friendly business – we’re a dog-loving one! Our café is designed to provide the best experience for both you and your dog, whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee or catching up with a friend.

• Comfortable Outdoor Seating: Relax in our outdoor area, complete with cosy sheepskin rugs, knee blankets and heaters in winter for the perfect hygge atmosphere, or soak up the sun in our sun trap during the summer months.
• Dog Perks: Fresh water is always available for your dog and complimentary treats are waiting behind the counter - all it takes is a pair of irresistible puppy-dog eyes!
• Delicious Extract Coffee: Savour locally roasted, hand-crafted arabica coffee or indulge in our refreshing tea selection, from fresh mint to calming Darjeeling.
• Handmade Cakes & Pastries: Pair your drink with a slice of something delicious. Vegan and gluten-free options are always available, ensuring there’s a treat for everyone.

The Doghouse Bakery

Located in Bradford on Avon, our fully licensed dog bakery crafts delicious dog biscuits and pupcakes using 100% natural, gluten-free, and sugar-free ingredients.

• Our award-winning baker has been recognized for her incredible icing skills and has even been featured on Channel 4!
• Explore our full range of baked goodies online here for delivery across the UK or pick them up in-store at our dog-friendly café.

We are also a key supplier of frozen raw food in our area and have experts on hand to give advice with transitioning. We have developed our very own range of Raw DOGFOOD which we worked closely with canine nutrition experts to create. Available in both stores! We also stock Cotswold Raw, Natural Instinct, Poppy's Picnic, Naturaw, and Nature's Menu frozen raw food.

The Doghouse Sewing Workshop

We launched the Doghouse Sewing Workshop in 2021 in a tiny office in the centre of Bradford on Avon with just a couple of sewing machines. This has now grown into a huge bustling and busy workshop, tucked away in the gorgeous village of Holt. 

Step inside and you’ll find Steph, Anne, Daisy, Jo and Sophie - our brilliant in-house makers - hard at work cutting, stitching and finishing every single piece by hand. Each product that leaves our workshop carries not just the Doghouse name, but the dedication of the people who made it.

From cosy dog jumpers and perfectly fitted coats to cheerful bandanas, sturdy collars, classic leads, and snug blankets, everything is designed to keep your dog looking stylish and feeling comfortable, whatever the weather. We work with high-quality fabrics and materials, carefully chosen for durability, comfort, and that little bit of Doghouse flair.
