Dog Apparel Proudly Made in the UK

Here at Doghouse, we believe our four-legged friends deserve the very best. That means products made with care, skill, and a whole lot of love. That ethos started long before Doghouse opened its doors. Our founder, Ruth, made her very first dog coat at the age of 12 - out of an old kitchen tablecloth. It was lumpy, scratchy and barely held together… but the idea stuck. That early spark grew into a lifelong passion for making dogs comfortable, stylish, and warm, and it’s the same spirit that drives us today.

Almost everything in our clothing and accessories range is proudly made right here in the UK, by our incredible team of seamstresses in Wiltshire.

Tucked away just down the road from our Bradford on Avon shop, our sewing workshop is a hive of creativity and craftsmanship. Step inside and you’ll find Steph, Anne, Daisy and Jo - our brilliant in-house makers - hard at work cutting, stitching and finishing every single piece by hand. Each product that leaves our workshop carries not just the Doghouse name, but the dedication of the people who made it.

From cosy dog jumpers and perfectly fitted coats to cheerful bandanas, sturdy collars, classic leads, and snug blankets, everything is designed to keep your dog looking stylish and feeling comfortable, whatever the weather. We work with high-quality fabrics and materials, carefully chosen for durability, comfort, and that little bit of Doghouse flair.

By keeping our production local, we’re not only supporting British manufacturing but also making sure our quality stays premium. Every stitch, seam and button is checked with the same care we’d give our own dogs’ clothing - because we know our customers expect the best.

When you buy from Doghouse, you’re supporting real people doing what they love, keeping traditional sewing skills alive and helping us champion British-made in an industry that’s too often dominated by mass production overseas.

So, next time your dog is strutting down the street in their new Doghouse jumper, you’ll know exactly where it came from - a little workshop in Wiltshire, filled with laughter, cups of tea, the whir of sewing machines and a whole lot of heart.

British made. Dog approved. That’s the Doghouse way.
