Paws, potions and puppaccinos
Howl-o-ween
at Doghouse Bradford on Avon
Saturday 31st October
Something spooky is coming to Lamb Yard. On Saturday 31st October, actual Halloween, our Bradford on Avon shop is going full haunted house. There will be a fortune teller reading paws, a costume competition, cauldrons of themed drinks and more creepy treats than your dog can shake a tail at. Humans welcome too, obviously.
What's brewing
🔮 Cross her paw with a biscuit 🔮
The Doghouse fortune teller
For one day only, our grooming room becomes a fortune teller's den. Mystic Jessie will be reading paws and turning tarot cards to reveal what lies ahead for your dog. A long walk? A mysterious squirrel? A sausage in their near future? Only the cards can say.
🎃 Best dressed dog
Come in costume! Pop into the shop any time on the day to enter our costume competition. We'll announce the winner on Instagram @doghousewoofs and there's a prize for the best dressed dog. Ghosts, pumpkins, tiny vampires: the spookier (or sillier) the better.
🕸️ The haunted tunnel
Your adventure starts before you reach the door. Our tunnel is getting a handmade Halloween makeover, so brave it if you dare. Once you're through, look out for the pumpkin patch photo spot and get a snap of your little monster.
🖍️ For the little humans
Bringing small trick or treaters? We'll have Halloween colouring pages and crayons ready, plus sweets to give away. There are free treats for the dogs too, so nobody leaves empty pawed.
🎶 Monster mash
A proper Halloween playlist will be on all day. Expect a party, not a fright, so dogs of a nervous disposition are very welcome.
From the cauldron
Spooky sips
Warm your hands (and paws) with our Halloween drinks menu.
🎃 Pumpkin spice everything
🍁 Salted maple white hot chocolate
☕ Hot chocolate with all the toppings
🐶 Halloween puppaccinos
Trick or treat yourself
The shop will be stocked to the rafters with Halloween goodies. Here's what to sniff out while you're in.
🧙 Witches' spell bags and creepy treat bags
Every good spell needs ingredients, and we've raided the natural treat shelves for the most gruesome ones we could find. All completely natural, all completely delicious (to dogs).
🐔 Chicken feet, straight from the witch's larder
👂 Hairy scary ears, as hairy and scary as they sound
🐟 Fishy sprats, for a properly pongy potion
🩸 Freeze dried bites and other things that go crunch in the night
Bring the dog, bring the kids, bring a friend. We'll see you in Lamb Yard on Saturday 31st October.
Happy Howl-o-ween! 🎃
