Calling all Clifton dog lovers - we're lacing up our walking boots and rounding up the pack for a morning of fresh air, friendly faces, and four-legged fun. Doghouse Clifton Village is teaming up with our friends at HoundPlus for a relaxed social dog walk around one of Bristol's most beautiful neighbourhoods, and we'd love for you and your pup to join us. Plus, get a free harness fitting from Twiggy Tags after the walk!

Whether your dog is a confident social butterfly or a quieter soul who just loves a good sniff and a wander, this one's for you. It's a chance to meet fellow local dog owners, discover new walking routes around the area, and soak up that friendly community atmosphere we love about Clifton.

The essentials

• Where: Doghouse Clifton Village (meet at the store)
• When: 10am for coffee & browse, 11am walk begins, 12pm back at the store
• Walk route: Clifton Downs, approx. 1 hour at a leisurely pace
• Cost: Completely free!

What's the plan?

We'll be kicking things off at the Doghouse Clifton store from 10am, where you're welcome to pop in for a coffee, have a browse of our brilliant dog-friendly products, and let your pup say hello to their new walking buddies before we head off.

At 11am, we'll set off as a group for a leisurely one-hour stroll around Clifton Downs — with plenty of stops along the way for chats, treats, and the obligatory doggy photo opportunities. Expect open green space, good company, and a pace that suits everyone.

We'll loop back to the store for 12pm, where you're more than welcome to stick around, browse, grab another coffee, and catch up with the pack. Everyone who joins us gets 10% off in-store to use on the day, plus a free goody bag to take home.

Harness Fittings by Twiggy Tags

Twiggy Tags owner, Lois, will be joining us on the walk and staying at the end to help with  personalised harness fittings for your dogs and answering any questions you might have. It's a great chance to try lots of different styles on and see which works best for your dog!

Tips for bringing your dog along

All friendly dogs are welcome. Just a few small things to keep in mind:

• The weather looks like it'll be nice and warm on Sunday - highs of 24°C - so dress accordingly and make sure to pack some water for your pup
• Please keep dogs on lead where needed
• Bring poo bags (always a classic)
