Seasonal Fulfilment Assistant

Location: Holt, Wiltshire (Office/Warehouse based)

Contract: Temporary | Up to 5 days a week | Flexible hours

The Role:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Fulfilment Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a hands-on role in our warehouse, supporting the smooth running of Winter/Christmas orders. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive their parcels beautifully packed and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing stock ready for fulfilment
• Picking and packing customer orders with care and accuracy
• Packing up dog treats and gift packs
• Labelling and organising stock in the warehouse
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required
• Working efficiently with the team to meet daily order deadlines
• Using Shopify to manage orders - some experience with this platform would be preferred but not essential

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong attention to detail and care in presentation
• An ability to work accurately at pace
• Good organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in

• Previous fulfilment, retail, or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential

Contract Details:

• Up to 5 days a week (Monday–Friday)
• Flexible hours (great for parents doing school runs or students with other commitments)

• Temporary contract for our busy Winter/Christmas period, Oct - Feb

Team Leader at Doghouse Clifton

Location: Clifton Village, Bristol (at Doghouse)

Contract: Permanent | Up to full time: 4/5 days per week which will include some weekend work.

ABOUT US

Doghouse is a growing, dynamic company and we are now looking for a Team Leader to join our retail team in Clifton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience in retail to join our team.

DOGHOUSE is a unique concept, we're a grooming salon, pet shop and café in one, a destination for dogs and dog lovers to come together over a great cup of coffee and browse a range of quality pet goods while their dog gets groomed. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service, we want owners and their dogs to feel at home when they stop by, so friendliness and great communication is a must when working for us.

This is a fast paced role, you will be responsible for other members of the team and the shop floor - interacting with customers, stocking shelves and serving from café counter. We will provide full barista training as well as product training so you are fully qualified in both aspects of the role.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has…

• Proven retail experience
• An ability to work independently and lead a small team
• An eye for detail and an ability to think on your feet
• An enthusiasm for dogs, coffee, design & independent stores

As Team Leader you will be responsible for helping the team to hit targets and helping to grow the business through instore events, you will also lead and direct staff duties on the shop floor which will include;

• Some responsibility of ordering stock
• Making coffee and serving customers in our café
• Keeping detailed records of stock & customer orders
• Involved in hosting in-person events
• Maintaining a high level of store presentation
• Developing product knowledge
• Accepting deliveries & checking stock received (this can be physical work)

Retail Sales Assistant at Doghouse Bradford on Avon

Location: Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire (at Doghouse)

Contract: Permanent | Up to full time: 4/5 days per week which will include some weekend work.

Sales Assistant needed in a fast paced, growing, independent pet shop and café.

We are looking for candidates with an enthusiasm for dogs, design & independent stores, who are motivated to work independently and as part of our small team, ideally with a minimum of 3+ years experience working in retail or a busy coffee shop environment.

Pet shop experience, or having an in-depth knowledge of pet products, is preferred.

Traits: Dedicated & loyal, an eye for detail, friendly, hardworking, positive & proactive.

The role will involve:

• Working directly with customers within the store, providing friendly & outstanding customer service
• Keeping a detailed record of stock & customer orders
• Maintaining a high level of store presentation
• Developing product knowledge and using this to suggest the right products to the right customers
• Accepting deliveries & checking stock received (this can be hard physical work)
• Making coffees and serving our café customers (full coffee training can be provided by our partners Extract Coffee)
